Brought my 11 month cat here for her first vet appointment- was very impressed and happy with every aspect of her care! Staff is very friendly and nice, they were gentle and understanding with her despite her skittish nature. I can tell that truly loving animals is foundational to their team's ethos, and that priority certainly showed through their care.

We are new to this practice and it came highly recommended. We are very happy with the care all of our animals receive, however, very appreciative with the care they provided to our 4 year old Bengal cat, Tango, on 1/27/26. We encountered the need for an emergency visit, and I called at 8 am asking for assistance. Despite being double booked- they fit her in for an inpatient day stay. After completing a thorough exam and receiving treatment, she was home by 3 pm. Bengals aren’t all that personable, but with slow and compassionate care, she was able to avoid additional sedation and complete the assessment needed. There is no emergency care facility in the Keene area, but their extended week day hours make for convenient appointments after work. Front desk staff are kind and knowledgeable and very helpful with appointment times and scheduling needs. Kim is an incredible Tech making introductory visits comfortable and easy. Her connection to the animals is amazing. We were confident we made the right choice with Westside after meeting with her. Both Vets offer excellent oversight and care. Animals are important in the lives of many. They deserve the best of care and definitely receive it at Westside.

Absolutely terrible vet. We brought our dog who we got at 13 months old with no vet records to them telling them he had never been to a vet so we were unsure how he would act. They put a muzzle on him and the first nurse came in and socialized with him which was great and he loved her. Then the vet came in and didn't even acknowledge our dog. He then squirmed when the vet tried to touch him so she called the visit and gave us medication to give him so we could try again the next time we come. The next visit he's drugged out of his mind and muzzled and the nurse and vets came in very clearly scared of our dog. They stood on the other side of the room and threw treats at him instead of trying to help him feel comfortable with them. They had us try to hold him facing away from them as they tried to give him shots and he continued to squirm as these complete strangers tried to touch him. They then proceeded to tell us to pin our dog against the wall so they could do the shots and bloodwork. Instead of telling us they were uncomfortable with our dog or could not handle him we went for two 20 minute visits. They then proceeded to charge us for an exam that we were told would take place during the second visit but still never happened. They also would not respond to our insurance company who attempted to reach out multiple times in regards to medical records and then proceeded to tell us "oh sorry the emails were in our spam folder". Extremely disappointed and disgusted with this clinic and will not be going back.
