Love everyone at Dover Vet! My dog, Primo, has been there since he was a puppy and he just turned 13. They love him and he loves them. They are extremely accommodating to his needs and always communicate any test results or follow ups. I highly recommend their practice!

They saw us on short notice and gave our dog Angel excellent, in-depth care. The entire staff was friendly and comforting. I put 100% trust in their care. And a special thanks to Dr Prescott for her after-hours email outlining Angel's treatment plan. May 9, 2026 - Last week Angel's body was failing quickly and it was time for our sweet girl to leave us. I wanted Dover Veterinary Hospital to set her free and they graciously took her in short order. Dr Prescott, Angel’s trusted vet, rearranged her schedule so she could be the one to end Angel’s pain. Both that bighearted act and the kindness of the entire staff was overwhelming. In time there will be another dog in our life, and I’d love for Dover Veterinary Hospital and Dr Prescott to be that dog’s providers. A big “Thank You” to the entire staff for Angel’s

My dog, Reese, recently experienced a cardiac emergency during a surgical procedure. Dr. McCarthy and her surgery team went above and beyond to ensure Reese got the care she needed which lead to a positive outcome for Reese. This involved staff actually transporting Reese (while attached to medical equipment) to a hospital that could support the level of care she needed at that point. Additionally, Dr. McCarthy has a great bedside manner. I appreciate the time she takes to address concerns and questions, and the care she has for her patients is obvious. I also had an excellent experience with Linda, the vet tech, who took the time to listen and to address concerns regarding Reese prior to her procedure.

I’ve been a client of Dover Veterinary Hospital for more than 20 years, and I can confidently say they are the best of the best. Every single staff member, from the friendly front desk team to the skilled technicians and the exceptional veterinarians, is phenomenal. What I love most is how much time they take to get to know each of our pets—not just as patients, but as family members. They form real relationships and always keep communication open and honest, no matter the situation. You truly feel like they’re in it with you, every step of the way. They go the extra mile to ensure that both pets and their humans feel cared for and informed. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the health and happiness of my pets. Dover Veterinary Hospital is an absolute treasure in our community.
