Let's drop that to 0 stars... After 12+ years as a patient, I called to schedule urgent bloodwork for my dog following a positive anaplasmosis test. I was put on hold mid-call and transferred — without introduction — to someone who turned out to be the hospital manager. When I calmly raised concerns about the practice, she spoke over me and dismissed them. When I expressed frustration with a receptionist interaction, she took personal offense and told me I should look elsewhere. When I asked specifically to see my dog's established veterinarian, Dr. Guida, I was refused. I asked directly whether they were denying urgent care to an existing patient. No answer. Her parting message was words to the effect that they could not accept my dog as a patient based on concerns I raised during that call. She then hung up. [THIS WAS THE MANAGER, I was told!] Think about that. A sick dog was denied access to her own vet — not for anything I did wrong, but because a manager didn't want to hear critical feedback. I never raised my voice. I never made threats. I gave feedback. The manager refused to give her last name throughout the call. I have since found excellent, compassionate care elsewhere. Dr. Guida is a genuinely good vet — she deserves better support staff than this. Dr. Lynn, we will REALLY MISS YOU. You were the best for both of my pups! And sadly, I cannot rely on or trust this practice.
