Excellent reception and very caring vet care here. Our 5 lb bunny was spayed at WVH and we couldn't be happier with how she was cared for before and after. Without hesitation we highly recommend this practice.

My experience with this clinic nearly cost my cat her life. I brought her in because she was lethargic and vomiting, but the vet dismissed my concerns simply because she was walking around the exam room. I was told she was acting like a "normal cat" and was sent home with a hairball remedy. No diagnostic tests were performed despite my insistence that her behavior was not normal. When she suddenly stopped eating and drinking completely, I took her to a different vet who confirmed she had a severe case of pyometra and was turning septic. Her uterus was so enlarged it was pressing against her bladder and intestines and was visibly bulging from her side. They confirmed this had been developing for a long time and were shocked she was even able to mask the pain and continue to walk around, go up and down stairs, and even use the litter box. She's just an incredibly strong cat. Had Walpole taken the time to run basic tests or listened to me as an owner, this would have been caught before it became a life-threatening emergency. Their negligence led to my cat’s unnecessary suffering and left me with nearly $2,000 in emergency medical debt, and more to come with follow-up appointments and tests. I strongly caution any pet owner to seek care elsewhere; you want a vet who relies on diagnostics, not just a visual "guess" based on whether a cat can walk.

This is a wonderful practice. The vets are so caring, skilled and respectful. Just like another reviewer mentioned, my pets love the techs here! That is high praise because they are rescues, they don't love just anybody... highly recommend.

We moved to the area 2 years ago. Walpole accepted my 2 furry girliez when no other veterinary practices were taking new patients. Right choice! Every one there is so welcoming & kind. They're always accommodating re "special" canine personalities. I left my vet of 20+ years which was very hard. Walpole has definitely made it a little easier. Great people.
