We love Derry Animal Hospital! Our shepherd mix is a very nervous patient and they always take plenty of time with him and are very gentle and thorough in their approach. Dr Retlinger and all the vet techs and assistants are absolutely fantastic! Every vet tech is amazingly patient and skillful. This week at at my furry boy’s sedated nail trim, they took every step to reduce his and my stress, reviewed everything with me ahead of time and accommodated my pup’s needs. Thank you!!!

I have been taking our pet family members to Derry Animal Hospital for 20 years. During this time I have had various pets that I have entrusted to Derry Animal Hospital staff for care. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the Veterinarians, Technicians and Office staff. They have also been vital team members in coordination of care with Veterinary Specialists as needed over the years for further cardiology or treatment of one of my dogs with life long GI disease. They have been knowledgeable, supportive, understanding and most of all compassionate in the care they give. From new pet (puppy/ kitten visits) to recently two of my beloved dogs final compassionate release due to old age in December and again in April of last year. They were and have always been sincere, compassionate and empathetic. The Veterinary Doctors will personally call you back with results or concerns, they take the time to speak with you about your concerns and the technician team members go above and beyond to answer any questions you may have. They not only support the family pets but the family that loves them.
